~Reservations for our pet hotel~

Parkville Animal Wellness offers boarding for all of your companion animals.  Visitors are welcome to tour our boarding facility at any time.  We pamper your pets and treat them as our own, while keeping them in a loving clean environment.  We keep our kennel small and fully staffed to ensure your pet is never overlooked.  If our trained personnel spot a problem with your pets eating habits the veterinarian will be promptly notified.  Our main priority is to keep your pets healthy and happy during their stay with us.  Our kennel can accommodate pets from the largest dogs, to the most finicky felines.  Pet owners are welcome to bring any comfort items from home to make their pets stay an enjoyable one.  We offer your pets the TLC they deserve at no extra charge.  Please call today to schedule a tour, or to make hotel arrangements for your pet.

Boarding fees are based on your pets weight, and fees are charged by the night.  Our boarding fees include the following;

~Food and Water - We feed iVet, a natural diet made locally in Missouri at a certified organic facility.  You are more than welcome to bring your pets own food if they are on a holistic or prescription diet.  You do not need to bring your pets dishes or bowls with you for boarding unless you prefer your pet to eat from an elevated feeding dish.

~Daily Walks - Dogs are walked, on a leash, at least four times per day in a large field beside our practice.  We take them for at least one extended walk per day to ensure they have an outlet for built up energy.  This is especially important for young active dogs.  Dogs are walked first thing in the morning, at lunch time, mid afternoon, and before we leave in the evening.  You are not charged additional if your dog requires an additional walk during the day.  Often times young puppies are taken out more frequently to keep their potty training on schedule.

~Bedding - All pets are provided with clean soft bedding.  You are more than welcome to bring any items from home to make their stay more comfortable.  

~Complimentary Boarding Bath - Pets staying with us for one week or longer will receive a complimentary bath the morning they are to be released.  Please let us know if you do not want your pet bathed.

~Exceptional Care - We aren't just here to kennel your pets while you are away, we are here to care for them.  All pets are treated like one of our family while they stay with us.  We stress the importance of love and affection towards the pets to all of our personnel.  Hugs and kisses are always included in our boarding fees.

         >100 lbs ~ $27.00/night

Cats are housed in a  separate room from boarding dogs in our luxurious kitty condos, to keep them stress free while staying with us.  Each cat is housed separate from other cats, unless they are housemates.  Each condo includes a perch for climbing.  If space allows us, we will always open the condos so your kitty has some extra space to climb up and down neighboring condos.  There is no additional charge for this service.  

~New PAW Boarding Policies~

~Due to the enormous demand to admit and release pets after hours and on holidays, we had to change our policy to allow these services during our office hours only.  We appreciate the fact you would like your pet home with you as soon as possible, and we do understand, but we are not staffed to allow you to do this  after hours.  While we do have staff caring for your pet during this time, those staff members are not authorized to admit or discharge any pets from our facility.

~Pets may be dropped off between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00am and 11:30 on Saturday.  We do not recommend checking in at closing time to ensure your pet has some time to get settled in and comfortable before we leave for the evening.

~Animals requiring treatments such as injections (diabetics) or an excessive amount of medications/herbal treatments will be charged an additional fee of $5.00/day.

~If your pet has fleas or ticks we will treat the pet with Frontline Plus at the pet owners expense. We will also treat for any intestinal parasites we may find to ensure the health of all the pets in our care.

~Please inform us if you are not happy with the way your pet was cared for.  Your satisfaction and your pet's well-being are our primary concern.
