We provide a variety of surgical procedures, from spaying and neutering, to orthopedic procedures.  We offer the newest and safest anesthetic protocols to provide your pet with a smooth, pain free surgical experience.  Pre anesthetic blood chemistries are recommended for all pets to screen them for possible health abnormalities.  We use an extremely safe inhalant anesthetic called Isoflurane for all of our procedures.  This inhalant anesthetic is the same that is used in human hospitals.  Pre and post surgical pain medications are given to ensure your pet wakes up from surgery comfortable, and pain free.    Only the most up to date equipment is used to monitor your pets heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation while under anesthesia.

Our spacious kennels can provide a loving environment for animals of all sizes.  From large comfortable run pens, to luxurious  kitty condos for your picky feline.  Dogs are walked frequently and given the TLC they deserve, at no extra charge.  We treat your pets how we would want our pets to be treated, keeping them pampered and happy. Please visit our pet hotel page for details about our boarding facility.

~Grooming~

 Patti is our groomer at Parkville Animal Wellness and her work is marvelous.  Patti has experience grooming all breeds and can make your pet look as if he just left the show ring.  When your pet is admitted for grooming Patti will consult with you about your lifestyle and your preferences on grooming.  She has a keen eye for abnormalities and will bring any concerns of hers to the attention of Dr. Welsh.  Grooming is by appointment only and is scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays.
